Starting from 31 December 2021, fully vaccinated* Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident, or their immediate family member, and travelers with designated visa could enter Sydney and other places of New South Wales state (NSW) without quarantine.

To enter the NSW like Sydney, a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test must undergo within 24 hours of your arrival. Self-isolate is required until a negative result certificate obtained. Once you received the negative test result, travel to Sydney or other places of NSW would be allowed.

For entering Melbourne and other Victoria places, you must undergo PCR test within 24 hours of your arrival. Until a negative result is obtained, you must stay in designated places for home isolation. Afterwards, a second on-site PCR test will be performed within the 5th to 7th day of arrival.

Passengers who have not completed the vaccination entering NSW or Victoria must stay in a hotel for 14 days of isolation.

If you are fully vaccinated with Biontech or Sinovac in Hong Kong, you are able to meet above requirements. As each state in Australia has different entry and epidemic prevention measures, international students must pay attention to the latest local information before booking.

Please Stay Safe💪
