【Go See The Switzerland】 Switzerland’s Government eases testing arrangements for inbound travelers

Date: 12 Feb, 2022

As updated by Switzerland’s Government on 21 January 2022, all fully vaccinated travelers from low-risk countries can be exempt from testing requirements onboarding and on entry to Switzerland; and quarantine after their arrival.

Travelers who had been vaccinated with recognized vaccines or have recovered from COVID, only need to 1. Present proof of vaccination or recovery and 2. Complete the Entry Form before arrival. If you had vaccinated with BioNTech or Sinovac in Hong Kong, you will be able to meet the relevant entry requirements.

Pre-test before boarding and entry is required for the traveler who is over 16 years old and could not present proof of vaccination or recovery. Travelers have to present a negative test result by PCR Test or Rapid Antigen Test at their boarding and enter Switzerland. For PCR Test, it should be performed no more than 72 hours prior to boarding and entry. For Rapid Antigen Test, it should be no more than 24 hours previously.
