【Effective NOW】Vaccination Requirements of entering Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA)

In order to reduce the risk posed by COVID-19, Airport Authority Hong Kong announced starting from 24 February, people* who enter HKIA should have completed the designated dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Details are as follows:

• From 24 February, people aged 12 or should have completed at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
• From 30 April,
  • - people aged 18 or above should have completed at least two doses of COVID-19 vaccine;
  • - people aged between 12 to 17 should have completed at least one dose;
  • From 30 June,
  • - people aged 18 or above should have completed two doses of COVID-19 vaccine, and have completed the third booster dose if it has been 9 months since their second dose;
  • - people aged between 12 to 17 should have completed one dose, and have completed two doses if it has been 6 months since their first dose.

You can exempt the above requirement if you are (1) fide departure / transfer / transit passengers ; or (2) persons falling within the scope of exceptions of Vaccine Pass.
